Shop Our Eighth Street Project: Part Two

Renovating a home is not just about changing spaces; it’s about creating a place that tells a story. This transformation can inspire, energize, and soothe. Welcome to the Eighth Street project in Boise, Idaho, where we explore bold lighting choices, stunning kitchen ranges, art that resonates, stylish bar areas, and luxurious bedding. Let's delve into the exciting details that brought this home to life!

Lighting Choices: Setting the Mood

Lighting can completely transform the feel of a space. For the Eighth Street project, we aimed for a combination of stunning fixtures and soft ambient lighting to evoke a cozy atmosphere.

A simple classic chandelier takes center stage above the dining table, casting warm light that is perfect for family dinners and lively gatherings. Pendant lights in the kitchen provide a gentle wash of light that keeps the space bright and luxurious, but relaxed.

Decorative light fixtures were also chosen for their aesthetic appeal. For instance, a unique pendant light in the entry not only illuminates the space but also sparks conversation with its intricate design. Such thoughtful choices enhance both utility and beauty.

In many homes, the kitchen serves as the heart, where meals are crafted and memories are made. For our project, we selected a 48" high-end kitchen range that highlights the balance between performance and sophisticated design.

This impressive range boasts six burners and a double oven, all finished in matte graphite and brass.. It offers ample functionality for cooking enthusiasts while contributing to the kitchen’s upscale look. In fact, studies show that 72% of homeowners prioritize a high-quality kitchen over other renovations, underscoring its importance.

The expansive countertop around the range caters to meal preparation and social gatherings. Additionally, extra tall cabinetry adds functional storage space, making the kitchen inviting and practical.

Art: Personal Touches

Art plays an integral role in making a home unique. For this renovation, we carefully curated an eclectic collection that resonates with the homeowner’s personality.

For example, a large abstract painting in the living room acts as a stunning focal point. It draws the eye and encourages conversations about art and its meaning. Smaller, thoughtfully placed pieces throughout the home add layers of character without overwhelming the overall design. By blending various styles, we created spaces that reflect individuality while maintaining harmony with the renovated interiors.

Bar: A Stylish Retreat

A designated bar area enhances both function and style, making it a perfect spot for entertaining. In our Eighth Street project, we designed a stylish bar that invites relaxation and enjoyment.

The bar features open shelving and an elegant countertop, complemented by chic brass bar tipping embellishments for displaying an impressive array of liquor and glassware. An art display light above the bar provide focused illumination, highlighting the modern design elements.

Equipped with essential bar tools, this area is ideal for hosting friends or unwinding with a drink after a busy day. It adds a refined touch to the home's entertainment options.

Bedding: Comfort Meets Style

Creating a peaceful retreat in the bedroom is essential for relaxation. This renovation focused on achieving both comfort and style, ensuring families can recharge in serene surroundings.

We chose premium bedding that elevates comfort, opting for soft fabrics in calming colors. Layers of decorative pillows and plush throws add texture, making the space inviting and warm. Vintage furniture was selected to complement the overall aesthetic, creating a cohesive look.

With these choices, the bedrooms become not just places to sleep but also havens for rest and rejuvenation—ensuring that homeowners find solace at the end of each day.
