We are excited to share the first glimpse into this beautiful home renovation of a historic 1930's home located in the North End of Boise, Id.

We had several goals for this project. One major must on the list was the front porch, small and non functional. We knew right away the best option would be to enclose the front porch and create a functional vestibule to welcome visitors with warmth and elegance. A a classic checked tile, darling bubble chandelier and custom bench cushions complete the look.

Purchased from the original owner the home was well cared for but, had gone mostly untouched. With 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms originally the next goal was to create a primary space that included a ensuite bathroom. To make that happen the 5th bedroom was converted to a primary bathroom attached to the primary bedroom.

We created a custom paint color and adorned the bathroom with cararra marble, gold finishes, organic textures and unexpected points of interest.
Another point of interest were the original built ins. When we work with older homes leaving as much of the original character is very important to us. In this case we were able to add wavy moulding to the existing bookcase, the result was perfect!

Another great built in feature, a pass thru built in from the living room to the kitchen. We closed the top half of the built in, added brass bar tipping rails, marble, lighting and wall moulding. The results were a marvelous little bar in the living room.

We are suckers for a good galley kitchen paired with a cozy dining nook. After configuring the primary en suite we were able to widen the kitchen by 4 feet giving the kitchen a open concept felling. The kitchen is dressed in warm undertones, beautiful marble and brass accents. The space was large enough to meet the bream of a 48" Ilve range, appliance garage and built in appliances.

Each bathroom was thoughtfully updated with the goal of feeling timeless, elevated, functional and warm. Upstairs the subtle deep brown tiles and penny Calcutta violet floor tile were the perfect pair. Adding an arch over the bath created a luxurious presence mimicked by the Carrara backsplash.

The entire 2600 sq. ft home has so many special moments and unexpected details. From the closets to wine cellar, wall moulding to paint colors this home is truly fabulous.

The homes basement got a fun facelift using a dark moody blue and cozy furnishings around the fire place.

No creepy basement here!

The bedrooms in the basement have wonderful natural light. We had cusom closets built for functionality and a yummy finished look.

And don't forget the small but mighty bathroom in the basement. Using a lot of tile was high priority.

Each bedroom got a special touch including linen bedding, gorgeous lighting, and a special rug.

We love how this home came into its own. It was so special to watch its progress at each turn and tile placed.
